Not a 5 only because my dog can still get through it fairly quickly. 'Course, we haven't yet found anything that my dog cannot destroy if she tries. So, this is strong and a fun toy but the "KONG" name doesn't mean it won't get destroyed. We always know when we buy something - especially if it has a squeaker, it'll last somewhere between 2-20 minutes. After that, it becomes an object for future tug of wars.
She keeps this one "alive" on the longer side. Something about the squeaker makes her howl mid-destruction, and she seems to like continuing to hear it's squeak for a bit (and then howl and squeak and howl...). So, it's fun to watch her play with it. This one seems to be one of her favorites to tear apart, which makes us buy them periodically.
